The story of this brand is one of sheer dedication to the leaf, beginning in the 1990s when founder Rakesh “Rocky” Patel transitioned from a successful career as an entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles to a premium cigar manufacturer. Initially launched under the name Indian Tabac, the company quickly evolved, rebranding in 2003 to reflect its founder’s personal commitment to quality. Today, production is split between two renowned facilities: the El Paraiso factory in Honduras and the TAVICUSA factory in Nicaragua. This dual-country approach allows the brand to harness the best soils in Central America, creating a diverse portfolio that consistently ranks among the top in the world.
