Ashton Little & Mini Cigarillos Review

Imagine the premium blends of Carlos Fuente, but smaller – way smaller. That is what the Ashton little and mini cigarillos offer you. Although they are machine-made, they come from natural premium tobacco. Read this review of the blend and price range before committing to a whole box or tin of Ashton Little & Mini Cigarillos.
Ashton Small Cigars are produced in four sizes:
- Mini Cigarillos (3 1/4” by 20 ring gauge)
- Senoritas ( 3 1/2″ by 30 ring gauge)
- Cigarillos (3 3/4″ by 26 ring gauge)
- Half Corona (4 1/8″ by 37 ring gauge)
There are two available blends – both made with premium Dominican fillers. The only difference is in the outer wrapper. The original blend is the Ashton Small Cigars, finished with a Cameroonian wrapper. On the other hand, the much lighter Ashton Small Cigars Connecticut is made from a golden brown Connecticut Shade wrapper.

A pack of 20 Ashton cigarillos will set you back at about $22. A single stick is $2 on average if you’d prefer a longer supply, a box of 200 costs slightly over $220.
Ashton Mini & Little Cigarillos Review
For today’s review, I will treat myself to the original blend, Ashton Small Cigars, and the Connecticut version. Both came packaged in an elegant white box of 5 cigars.
The wrapper has a dark, reddish-brown color with pockets of oil evenly distributed throughout the stick. The cigar is open on both ends, so there is no need to use a cutter. However, one end is slightly tapered, indicating the side you’ll go into my mouth.
The blend stimulates the palate with notes of wood and spices as soon as you light it. Because of the short and thin build, it burns fast.
Flavors of hickory, black pepper, cocoa, and nutmeg rouse in the first few minutes. Towards the middle of the cigar, subtle hints of leather and baking spices emerged. The draw was excellent for such a small cigar.
I rinsed my mouth with a cup of water and popped out blonde Connecticut from its pack. Immediately I lit it up, and contrasting creaminess and nutty notes burst out. The smoke is less intense than the Cameroonian blend. The flavor and aroma can be likened to the Ashton classic cigars. It finished with hints of c dad and spices.
The Ashton Small Cigars Mini Cigarillos are perfect when you want a quick smoke in the morning with your coffee. They are also perfect for those quick work breaks or waiting to be picked up at the airport.
