About Ashton Small Cigars
Ashton Small Cigars, also known as Ashton cigarillos, deliver the legendary quality and sophisticated flavor of a premium Dominican blend in a convenient format for aficionados short on time. Crafted with the exact same dedication to excellence that defines the brand's full-sized offerings, these pint-sized smokes were designed to deliver a complete, highly satisfying experience in a fraction of the time. The Master Blenders engineered this specific lineup to ensure that the rich Dominican filler tobaccos do not overheat in the smaller ring gauges, providing a highly reliable, mild-to-medium bodied smoke that is ideal for a quick morning commute or a brief coffee break.
When you light up one of these short stogies, the tasting notes offer a beautiful concentration of traditional Dominican flavors. Depending on the specific edition, they are wrapped in either a gingerbread-hued Cameroon leaf or a golden Connecticut Shade wrapper. The cold draw reveals a touch of natural sweetness, and as the quick burn progresses, the palate is treated to highly refined layers of rich cocoa, warm baking spices, sharp cinnamon, and smooth wood. Despite their small stature, the construction remains excellent, yielding a surprisingly cool draw and an even burn line from start to finish.
This line is highly sought-after by both veteran connoisseurs and newcomers alike because it eliminates the need to compromise on quality when leisure time is limited. A fantastic detail about this series is its wide variety of formats—from the ultra-quick Mini Cigarillos to the slightly longer Half Corona—ensuring there is a perfect fit for any brief window of relaxation. To preserve the delicate nature of the Cameroon and Connecticut wrappers, we ship every order directly from our humidor. Through our factory-fresh sourcing model and strict 70/70 climate control, your cigars arrive perfectly conditioned and ready to light.

Pairing & Recommendations
To beautifully complement the rich cocoa, baking spices, and warm cinnamon-tasting notes of this mild-to-medium bodied smoke, we highly recommend pairing it with a quick shot of espresso, a hot cappuccino, or a neat pour of lightly aged rum. The roasted notes of the coffee or the molasses in the rum will perfectly highlight the natural sweetness of either the Cameroon or Connecticut wrapper. This is an incredibly versatile, convenient companion, making it the perfect smoke for a brief morning walk or a short intermission during a busy afternoon.
Because these vitolas are machine-made or utilize pre-cut heads, you generally do not need a cutter for the smaller cigarillos; however, if you are smoking the Half Corona, use a sharp double-guillotine cutter to cleanly snip the cap. Toast the foot very gently with a soft flame to avoid scorching the delicate, thin wrappers. Maintain a slow, deliberate drawing cadence; puffing too fast on a small ring gauge cigar will cause the Dominican core to overheat rapidly, which can easily mask the smooth, woody nuances that make these short smokes so enjoyable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here you'll find answers to frequently asked questions for both first-time and experienced smokers
What are the sizes of Ashton Small cigars?
These convenient, pint-sized smokes are available in four highly distinguished formats to fit any brief window of time. You can choose from the ultra-quick Mini Cigarillos (3 1/4 x 20), the slightly thicker Senoritas (3 1/2 x 30), the standard Cigarillos (3 3/4 x 26), or the longer Half Corona (4 1/8 x 37).
Is Ashton Small a good cigar?
Yes, they are widely considered some of the finest premium short smokes available on the market today. They deliver the same high standards of quality, flavor, and consistency as the brand’s full-sized, hand-rolled offerings. If you read an Ashton Small cigars review, experts consistently highlight the impressive concentration of flavor—specifically notes of cocoa and cinnamon—that remains completely smooth despite the small ring gauge.
How to store an Ashton Small cigar?
Even though they are small, you must store every Ashton Small cigar in a properly seasoned humidor maintained under strict 70/70 climate control (70% relative humidity and 70 degrees Fahrenheit). Keeping this exact environment is critical because the delicate Cameroon and Connecticut Shade wrappers will quickly dry out and crack if left exposed to ambient air, ruining the smooth flavor profile.
Are the Ashton Small cigars high-end?
Yes, they are definitively high-end within the cigarillo and small cigar categories. Blended by the legendary Carlito Fuente and Robert Levin, this line uses ultra-premium Dominican filler tobaccos. The strict quality control standards guarantee that every pack or box delivers an elegant, top-tier smoking session, making them the perfect luxury option for aficionados who are short on time.
Where can I buy Ashton Small cigars?
You can purchase authentic Ashton Small cigars directly from us right here at Cigar Country. By skipping the traditional middlemen, we guarantee that your premium packs and boxes are shipped factory-fresh straight from our Dominican facilities, arriving perfectly humidified and ready to enjoy.
