Davidoff cigars’ quality, consistency, intricacy, and congruity give the company a well-deserved status as a good cigar company. The Davidoff Year of the Rooster is a limited edition cigar delivered in late 2016 inspired by the Chinese zodiac. The cigar is moved in an exemplary size (a 6 3/4″ x 50 Perfecto). Production for this cigar was restricted to 8,000 boxes of 10 (80,000 aggregate) at $40 per cigar. Let’s review Davidoff Year of the Rooster.

Appearance and Construction
The Year of the Rooster is an attractive cigar with a double band (one white and gold, the optional band red and gold). The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper is chocolate brown, generally smooth for noticeable creases. The cigar is respectably firm when pressed, yet in no way, shape, or form hard. After utilizing a straight cut, testing the attract, which is around a 7/10 regarding limitation. The pre-light draw uncovers some wood notes, bits of zest, and an astonishing and charming plum note.
Flavor and Smoke Characteristics
The Davidoff Year of the Rooster opens with gentle, however powerful, smoke. The smoke is cool and marginally smooth, with kinds of espresso, salted almonds, and a hint of caramel. The completion is spotless. The draw doesn’t confine the smoke creation, which is at or better than expected.
At last, about an inch and a half in, the consumption is well-honed. A subtle pepper note has been created close by a dry cedar note. There are bits of pleasantness to a great extent, but by and large, the saltiness is carrying the flavor profile.
