Davidoff began manufacturing cigars in Cuba in 1969 at the “El Laguito” factory in one outskirt s of Havana and continued until 1991 when all Cuban Davidoff cigars were discontinued. Zino died on January 14, 1994, after completing his relocation to the Dominican Republic in 1990. The Davidoff lines are made up of five different tobacco blends, each matured for at least four years for a smooth, distinct flavor reminiscent of “The Good Life.”

Davidoff Grand Cru No. 2
The Davidoff Grand Cru No 2 is a Corona-sized cigar with a light to medium body. A Dominican binder and filler are wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper on these cigars. Woody and nutty flavors pervade the special tobacco leaves. Their tobacco plants thrive in the Dominican Republic’s most ideal conditions: a perfect temperature of 27 degrees Celsius, fertile soil, and the proper combination of sun and rain.
