Foundation Menelik cigars, which translates to "the son of the wise man," is an exquisite addition to the brand's portfolio. It features a Mexican San Andres wrapper, Nicaraguan Corojo 99 binder & Condega, Estelí and Jalapa filler tobacco. This blend is inspired by Menelik, a legendary ruler of Ethiopia, also known as Ebna la-Hakim. In fact, Ethiopia was the only African nation that successfully fought off colonial conquest. Honoring this strength and bravery, these cigars exude complexity, robustness, and depth.
Hand-rolled at the Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A. factory, these cigars originally came in a Robusto size and paper packs of 5. However, it is now available in the Toro 6" x 52 and Torpedo 4 1/2" x 52 vitolas. They come in gorgeous engraved wooden boxes of 12 sticks, all bearing colorful decorative rings, and with production limited to 1,000 boxes per quarter.
