Crowned Heads Azul y Oro

The inception of the Crowned Heads Azul y Oro limited edition cigar draws from a captivating tale. Born from a gift, the cigar's genesis finds its roots in a whisky bottle shared between Crowned Heads founders Mike Condor and Jon Huber and Gustavo Cura, the mastermind behind the Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) factory. Back in 2011, Cura, then part of Oliva Tobacco Co., played a pivotal role in aiding Condor and Huber to uncover manufacturing possibilities in Nicaragua, forging a lasting partnership.

The very essence of the Azul y Oro cigar is a tribute to this connection. Inspired by the whisky bottle's label, the cigar's band, and packaging encapsulate the essence of this shared journey. An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, exuding rustic charm, envelopes the medium-bodied blend, while a Nicaraguan binder and filler contribute to its savory allure. A significant milestone for Crowned Heads, the Azul y Oro cigar marks their inaugural limited-edition release crafted at the NACSA factory. The story behind its creation lends an extra layer of richness to the smoking experience, making each puff a nod to friendship, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence. This blend not only captures the flavors of tobacco but also the camaraderie and spirit of craftsmanship that defines the world of cigars.
