The Alec Bradley Cigar Company was founded in 1996 by Alan Rubin, a passionate cigar enthusiast who wanted to bring high-quality, boutique-style blends to the market. Despite entering the industry during the tumultuous post-cigar boom era, Rubin focused heavily on strict quality control and sourcing top-tier tobacco leaves. The brand eventually found its true home working closely with the renowned Fabrica de Tabacos Raices Cubanas in Danlí, Honduras. This partnership allowed the brand to scale production without sacrificing the meticulous rolling and aging room standards required for premium cigars.

When it comes to the general flavor profile, Alec Bradley leans towards the medium to medium-full spectrum, heavily utilizing dark, oily wrappers like Honduran Corojo and Nicaraguan Maduro. The tasting notes across their portfolio frequently feature deep earthiness, dark chocolate, espresso, leather, and a distinct peppery spice on the retrohale.
