This blend's master blender was Carlos Oliva, and it is handcrafted at the famous Tabacalera Oliva in Esteli, Nicaragua. Oliva Master Blends 3 Liga Maestra is one of the most complex blends by the brand. Founder Melanio Oliva first grew his world-renowned full-flavored tobaccos in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba, back in 1886. Additionally, three generations and two revolutions later, Melanio's grandson Gilberto found a new place to call home in Nicaragua's fertile lands. Today, Gilberto and his family are one of Nicaragua's largest growers of Cuban-seed tobac­co. They continue to use the same time-tested curing, blending, and rolling methods that built an empire.
