Foundation Charter Oak Especiales Pegnataro cigars are medium-bodied with a Connecticut Shade wrapper, a Jalapa Nicaraguan binder, and Estelí and Jalapa Nicaraguan filler tobacco. There are two vitolas: Pegnataro (CT Shade) and Pasquale (CT Broadleaf). Both are 5 ½" x 48 and soft box-pressed. These special edition cigars pay respect to the decades of success and excellence Foundation Cigars has experienced. They also pay homage to Nick Melillo's home state and pay homage to a sacred tree known as the Charter Oak and his grandfathers. Shop now!

These cigars come in beautiful wooden boxes with the Charter Oak tree design carved onto the lid. Hand-rolled at the Tabacos Valle de Jalapa (TABSA) factory in Nicaragua, each cigar features a ring with the blend logo on it and is packaged in counts of 12. Although these cigars are regular production, only 6,000 boxes are made per quarter. These special sticks are deeply personal for Melillo.
