Brand History

Jamie Partagas founded the original brand in Cuba back in 1845, but it was the expertise of Master Blender Ramón Cifuentes and his son that propelled it to global prominence. After fleeing Cuba in 1961, Cifuentes ensured the legendary Partagas heritage survived. By 1978, the General Cigar Company successfully relaunched the brand in the United States, transitioning production to the Dominican Republic. We source these boxes straight from their Dominican factory, ensuring a pristine factory-direct model. Because our facility strictly maintains 70/70 climate control, you receive perfectly preserved tobaccos that have never fluctuated in temperature, allowing the true terroir of the leaves to shine upon lighting.
