Warped Cigars

Warped Cigars is a boutique, Cuban-inspired cigar brand founded in 2007 by Kyle Gellis. Gellis's love of cigars started young, sitting beside his father as a boy, and by 18 he was making weekly trips to Little Havana in Miami to learn the craft firsthand. That hands-on education led him to El Titan de Bronze, the factory that still produces much of the warped cigar lineup alongside Casa Fernandez's TABSA operation in Nicaragua and Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic.

What sets warped cigars apart is a commitment to old-world Cuban techniques — entubado bunching (each leaf rolled into its own tube rather than folded), triple caps, and covered feet — all built for balance, complexity, and consistency rather than chasing trends in size or strength. Every blend in the portfolio is personally developed by Gellis himself, giving the brand a distinct, hands-on signature across releases.

At Cigar Country, we currently carry Isla del Cocodrilo, Warped's Cuban-inspired homage to the island nation the brand draws so much inspiration from — a great entry point if you're wondering what the best warped cigar to try first might be, with its Ecuadorian Habano Desflorado wrapper, dual binders, and Nicaraguan filler delivering a layered, medium-to-full smoke.
