Brand History

Warped Cigars is a boutique, Cuban-inspired brand founded in 2007 by Kyle Gellis. His deep passion for tobacco started at a young age, sitting beside his father, and by the age of 18, he was making weekly trips to Little Havana in Miami to learn the rolling trade firsthand. That hands-on education led him to El Titan de Bronze, the Miami factory that still produces much of the brand’s lineup, alongside Casa Fernandez’s TABSA operation in Nicaragua and Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic.

The general flavor profile of a Warped cigar leans solidly in the medium to medium-full range, rewarding the palate with layered complexity rather than pure strength. Depending on the vitola, smokers can anticipate engaging tasting notes of cedar, roasted nuts, subtle earth, and sweet spices, all delivered with an incredibly smooth retrohale. Gellis relies heavily on premium Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos, blending specific ratios of seco and ligero to achieve his signature balance.

Every blend in the portfolio is personally developed by Gellis himself, giving the brand a distinct, hands-on signature across all releases.
