Atabey Cigars is a super-premium line crafted by Selected Tobacco S.A., led by industry veteran Nelson Alfonso.
Alfonso, who previously contributed to major brands like Cohiba, brings deep expertise to the Atabey project.
The cigars are produced in Costa Rica at the “Tabacos de Costa Rica” factory, where a secret blend of premium tobaccos is used.
Each cigar is wrapped in either Ecuadorian Shade or Ecuadorian Habano leaf, which influences the flavor profile and strength.
Additionally, the filler includes Peruvian ligero and other carefully selected tobaccos that add complexity and richness.
What distinguishes Atabey is its exceptional aging process combined with limited, controlled annual production.
