Ashton cigars are made from carefully grown tobacco seedlings harvested and aged expertly by the Fuente family in the Dominican Republic. They are hand-rolled in the legendary Tabacalera A. Fuente factory in the Santiago region of the Dominican Republic. 

History of the brand

Robert Levin founded the Ashton brand in the early 1980s. Before this, he was a respected cigar veteran who worked in his father’s cigar store. Levin subsequently decided to channel his ambition toward creating his cigar brand.

This led Levin to partner with the Fuente family to produce the brand, which he debuted in 1985. This decision was a stroke of genius, as the Fuente family had the right amount of talent, dedication, and passion for premium tobacco. Their ability to implement ideas of Levin while preserving exceptional levels of quality was unquestioned. No surprises here; they’ve had decades of practice.
