Tabak Especial Negra Gordito by Drew Estate cigars are coffee-infused and medium-bodied with a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan long-filler tobacco. There is also another version with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper called "Negra." The original blend took over 5 years to perfect. It features very carefully chosen Nicaraguan tobacco that was slowly infused over the course of 2 years with coffee from the Jinotega & Matagalapa regions of Nicaragua. These cigars are hand-rolled in Nicaragua at the Drew Estate factory. Founded by Jonathon Drew and Marvin Samuel back in the late 90s, college students in New York City at the time, the pair decided to start their own business. With little to no business knowledge and a love of cigars; they ventured off to find out more about how to make and market them as a business for themselves. They then decided to embark on their journey to learn more about cigar rolling in the heart of Nicaragua.
