The E P Carrillo Encore Celestial Toro cigar also undergoes a unique fermentation process where the fillers are aged, especially in “tercios.” Here, the tobacco leaves are wrapped with palm tree bark to make tight bales, creating a two-way humidification system. The result is fermented leaves with distinct flavors and aromas. The cigar is box-pressed and reddish-brown. It is full flavored and, like the name, encores the excellency of La Historia. Its sweet-smelling smoke is medium to full-bodied in strength and has a good draw and an even burn.
