La Flor Dominicana is a cigar company founded in 1994 by Litto Gomez, who is still the company’s owner. Litto Gomez is a Dominican cigar maker who has been making cigars for over 30 years. His passion for cigars began when he was 19 and discovered some tobacco seeds that grew into an obsession with making his cigars. He started with one box of handmade cigars and quickly realized how special they were, so he began selling them outside his home country.

Carajos are small cigars (4″ x 34) that pack all the flavor of a regularly-sized cigar. Made entirely of Dominican tobacco, these little cigars will never disappoint. The leaves are carefully processed using traditional techniques to retain their natural characteristics while producing a high-quality product. As you would expect from an LFD cigar, a strong aroma of cedar and sweet tobacco notes up front gives way to hay as you exhale through your nose. These medium-bodied smokes are perfect for anyone who is short on time but still wants to enjoy a high-quality cigar. The draw flavors are full and very sweet, with notes of hay, leather, and sweetness on the palate. The ash is light grey and holds for about 1 inch before falling off. There are no flaws in construction or appearance.
