The Andalusian Bull has a countless array of flavors from the very beginning. Immediately after you light the cigar, your palate is invaded with notes of leather, caramel, and a hint of chocolate. As the ring gauge decreases, it continues with notes of sweetness, red pepper, and spice, including minimal citrusy tones. In conclusion, all this, combined with the beautiful eye-catching reddish Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper and unique shape, creates an exquisite full-bodied smoking experience.

The Factory
In 1994, the Gomez family started making cigars in a small building’s backroom, using the name Los Libertadores. The emblematic name change came in 1996. Known for their creative shapes (they own the patent to the chisel shape) and their strong yet subtle flavors. Its story is one of perseverance and innovation. Cigar Aficionado called factory owner and founder Litto Gomez “arguably the most innovative mind in the cigar business.”. Litto, a former jeweler, started in the cigar business after his jewelry store in Miami was robbed. According to Litto, it took him about 20 years to refine and twerk the brand to what it is today. Most importantly, he put his heart into it. A great story to produce the famously and hard-to-find Andalusian Bulls.
La Canela Farm
240 acres of land in the Dominican Republic. The original 100 acres were co-owned with Jose Blanco from Tabacalera Palma. Gomez does not use any Dominican tobacco that does not come from his land. He monitors the entire operation closely, with a watchful eye, in addition to monitoring the factory just as closely. Furthermore, he does not sell any of his tobacco, using it to elaborate his own cigars. As a result, his cigars are as unique as he is. At the farm, the climate is dry and hot. The soil is rich in nitrogen and micronutrients, making the tobacco stronger, therefore, more concentrated than most tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic.
Almost every cigar to come out of the factory has some La Canela-grown tobacco in its DNA. Cigars like LFD Cameroon Cabinet No.3, El Jocko, and of course, the exclusive Andalusian Bull. For instance, a select variety of tobacco plants are grown there, like Piloto Cubano and Criollo ’98, amongst others.
