Davidoff Grand Cru No. 3 Review

The Davidoff Grand Cru No. 3 is a Corona and one of the most popular sizes within the blend. The caps are skillfully attached and the seams are quite smooth. The primary band has the usual white label design, while the second band has the same color scheme and denotes the line. The wrapper has a faint, dry hay smell, while the foot has a woody, earthy aroma. The pre-light draw leaves your lips with a cedar flavor and a faint spice.

Davidoff Grand Cru No. 5 Review

The Davidoff Grand Cru No. 5 is a Petit Corona wrapped with the characteristic Davidoff white label with gold embellishments and a secondary band that denotes Grand Cru. The cigar’s foot is spongy, and the cigar is densely packed with no tobacco spaces.

The Grand Cru’s cold pull is classic Davidoff, with notes of hay, grass, and cedar, and the perfume of the foot is no different. Since this is a short cigar, it does not need to be cut into thirds. The first note you’ll notice when you light the cigar is earth.

The earthy flavors dominate as you smoke with hints of grass and hay before even being accompanied by cedar notes. The cigar remains constant until you cut the lower band, at which point a faint licorice flavor emerges. The cigar’s cedar aromas grow more prominent as the main band is removed.
