Due to the success of El Centurion line, My Father Cigars released another variety as an extension of the line, the El Centurion H-2K-CT. The H-2K-CT is the name of the wrapper used - a Cuban-seed varietal that is an unusual hybrid Habano 2000 sun-grown in Connecticut. The wrapper isn’t as light as Connecticut Shade and equally not as dark as Connecticut Broadleaf. It’s just somewhere in the middle. These cigars have Nicaraguan Criollo 98 and Corojo 99 that have been aged for more than three years as binders and long-fillers. The tobacco leaves were all grown on the Garcia family farm in Nicaragua and rolled at the My Father cigar factory also in Nicaragua.
A medium to full-bodied experience is assured with brimming notes of cream, earth, dark fruits, cocoa, toffee, cherries, malts, cherries, honey, cinnamon, dark chocolates, and nuts. The line started as a limited production when it first debuted; however, In 2015, it became a regular production. The El-Centurion H-2K-CT offshoot line is box-pressed and comes in two vitolas, each packed in boxes of 20. They include Toro (6" x 52) and Corona (5½" x 48). You will have to taste one of these cigars to appreciate their complexity, balance, boldness, and smoothness. These cigars are true gems that only seasoned smokers can appreciate.
