The history of Trinidad is deeply rooted in the heart of Havana, Cuba, where it was established in 1969 as a private brand reserved exclusively for heads of state and foreign diplomats. Named after the beautiful 16th-century city of La Villa de la Santísima Trinidad, these smokes were kept hidden from the public market for decades. It wasn’t until 1998 that the brand was finally released for commercial sale, instantly becoming a staple for serious aficionados. Following the trade embargo, the heritage of the name expanded beyond the island, leading to the creation of premium non-Cuban lines that proudly carry the torch of this iconic marque into the modern era.

While Trinidad Cuban Cigars are famous for their earthy and floral subtleties, the brand’s modern non-Cuban offerings deliver a decidedly more robust, medium-to-full-bodied profile.
