Espinosa Murcielago

Espinosa Murcielago cigars are full-bodied with a dark Mexican San Andres Capa Negra wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobacco. They are box-pressed and hand-rolled at La Zona factory in Nicaragua. Murcielago means "bat" in Spanish and represents the bats that Erik Espinosa encountered when visiting caves in Mexico, hence the wrapper! This is allegedly one of Erik's favorite and most sentimental blends. Shop for a box now!

This blend originally was released in 2009 by EO Cigars but was put on pause for some years while Erik built his own company. In 2015, Erik announced that the "bat is back." The blend was reverse-engineered alongside Amilcar Perez-Castro from My Father Cigars and re-released. A third version of the blend was then released in 2017. They feature a holographic ring with a black bat design and the brand name underneath. The box is minimalist and classic, made of light-colored wood. Despite the multiple relaunches and redesigns, Murcielago is an authentic and special blend that many aficionados have loved for years. Buy a box of Espinosa Murcielago cigars today!
