Tatuaje Cabaiguan Guapos 46 Maduro cigars have the same blend as the milder original line but are dressed in different wrappers. They feature Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrappers. Cabaiguan is a name of a small city in Cuba after which the cigars are named. The city is home to many world-class and successful cigar rollers. The premium handmade cigars were created by a team of master blenders, Jaime Garcia and Pete Johnson. These cigars are also filled with carefully selected Nicaragua long fillers and binders like the original Cabaiguan. These wrappers amped up the blend a bit. They are blended with classic Cuban style and finished in a Cuban triple cap.
Cabaiguan Guapos cigars are full-flavored but medium-bodied; however, they are bolder than the original line. Upon lighting, the Nicaraguan spices give them a spicy kick with added notes of cedar, roasted nuts, cream, espresso, and bread. However, the Connecticut Broadleaf blend is toastier and sweeter, while the Ecuadorian Sun-grown blend is more leathery and creamy. The cigars are produced at the My Father cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, and are available in cabinets of 20. They are available in four standard vitolas and as both Maduro and Natural, making eight different cigars. These include Junior Petite Corona (4 ⅝" x 42), Toro Grande (5 ⅝" x 54), 46- Corona Gorda (5 ⅝" x 46), and RX Robustos Extra (5¼" x 50).
