La Flor Dominicana (LFD) Andalusian Bull 10th Anniversary Maduro

The La Flor Dominicana (LFD) Andalusian Bull 10th Anniversary Maduro is a visually striking cigar, showcasing a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper that is dark, rich, and oily to the touch. The cigar's construction features a Salomon format, measuring 6 1/2 x 52-64, which is characterized by its unique tapered head and wider foot. The wrapper is smooth with a slight sheen, displaying minimal veins that contribute to its overall elegant appearance. The pre-light aroma is inviting, offering hints of earthiness that set the stage for a complex smoking experience ahead.

Crafted by the esteemed La Flor Dominicana brand, the Andalusian Bull blend is a testament to the company's dedication to quality and tradition. Handmade in the Dominican Republic , specifically in the La Canela factory , this cigar features a carefully selected binder and filler, both sourced from the 2016 crop of estate-grown tobaccos. This meticulous attention to detail is reflective of the brand's history, which began in 1994 when Litto and Ines Gomez set out to create exceptional cigars. The Andalusian Bull was first released in 2016, celebrating Litto's Spanish heritage with a design inspired by bullfighting culture and has since become a staple in the premium cigar world.

Ideal for a relaxed evening or a focused smoking session, the Andalusian Bull 10th Anniversary Maduro is best enjoyed in a comfortable setting where one can appreciate its full-bodied character. With a smoking time of approximately 90 minutes, this cigar suits both seasoned aficionados and those with a developing palate. Whether paired with an aged rum or a fine single malt, this cigar invites contemplation and enjoyment, making it a worthy choice for special occasions or quiet moments of reflection.

Master Blender Tasting Notes

Taste Profile: The initial puffs reveal a blend of cedar and earth, complemented by a subtle black pepper that adds complexity. As the smoke progresses, notes of dark chocolate and cherry emerge, creating a rich tapestry of flavors. The final third introduces a delightful mix of baking spice and slight sweetness, rounding out the experience with depth and richness.

Evolution: The cigar begins with a robust profile, gradually transitioning into a more nuanced mid-section where the dark chocolate and cherry interplay beautifully.
