The term “Angel’s Share” is typically used in the wine-making process. When wine ages in barrels for long periods of time, some of it will evaporate. The evaporated wine gets the name Angel’s Share, alluding to the belief that guardian angels watch over the wine, sample it, and bless it. Since Fuente lost so much precious, decades aged tobacco during a warehouse fire in 2012, Carlitos was inspired to name this cigar Opus X Angels Share Fuente Fuente.
