About La Antiguedad

The Garcia family debuted La Antiguedad by My Father cigars in 2014 to honor their country of origin- Cuba- heritage and history. The cigars feature double binders from Nicaragua- Criollo, and Corojo. The tobacco leaves are wrapped with Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper leaves, which are dark, tasty, and luscious. These tobacco leaves were aged for no less than three and a half years. La Antiguedad cigars are medium to full-bodied. The cigar band features artwork from the 19th century, which emphasizes Cuban history and culture. La Antiguedad is a Spanish word for “antiquity,” and these cigar blends reflect that. They gave an ancient kind of smoking and will take you back in time. If you want to feel “old school,” then you should have a taste of La Antiguedad by My Father cigars.

As usual, Pepin does not compromise the quality of his cigars and does everything to perfection. La Antiguedad again features the skills and craftsmanship of the master blender.  They are almost like the more robust and bolder version of another line from the cigar brand, the Flor de las Antillas. Some call these cigars “Flor de las Antillas on steroids.”  They are box-pressed and available in five vitolas: Toro (5 ⅝" x 55), Toro Gordo (6" x 60), Robusto (5 ¼" x 52), Super Toro (7" x 56), and Corona Grande (6 ⅜" x 47).
