About La Aurora Family Creed Perseverancia
La Aurora Family Creed Perseverancia is a full-bodied cigar and the second installment in La Aurora's four-part Family Creed Series, a collection built around the core virtues of the León family, who have guided the oldest cigarmaker in the Dominican Republic since 1903. Family Creed Perseverancia captures the tenacity and steadfastness inherent in the León family values — the same unwavering commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and tradition that has defined the brand across generations. Following the acclaimed Family Creed Fuerte Sol, whose Robusto earned 93 points and a spot on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 — Perseverancia is intended to be stronger and richer than its predecessor while maintaining the box-pressed format that defines the series.
Made at the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic, the blend features a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés binder, and a combination of fillers from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Pennsylvania. Rather than relying on brute force, Perseverancia opens with leather, fresh cedar, green peppercorn, minerality, earth, and toasted hazelnut — flavors that are assertive yet refined, built on structure rather than raw power.

Tasting Notes & Accolades

Master Blender Manuel Inoa anticipates Perseverancia will reach multiple Top 25 charts across the industry.
