About Byron 20th Century
The blend for Byron 20th Century uses an Ecuadorian wrapper (often dark / Habano‑style or shade depending on the vitola) with a binder from Peru, and filler tobaccos drawn from Dominican Republic, Peru, and occasionally other undisclosed sources including some Nicaraguan. Importantly, the cigars are aged post‑roll for several years (4‑5 years in many cases) in cedar and French oak or special aging facilities with controlled humidity, which helps mellow harsher notes and deepen complexity.
The “20th Century” line is meant to evoke the style, flavor, and character that evolved as cigar preferences shifted in the 1900s — richer, deeper, more structured than the earlier Byron lines.
