La Flor Dominicana (LFD) Air Bender Chisel Review

If you’re a fan of the cigar shape, then chances are you’ve heard of La Flor Dominicana (LFD) Air Bender/AirBender Chisel – let’s review it. This is a unique cigar created by LFD at its factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. This smoke is worth trying with notes of leather, hardwood, and some spice.
La Flor Dominicana (LFD) Air Bender/AirBender Chisel Review
The LFD AirBender Chisel is one of the most unique cigar sizes on the market. It’s chisel size and has an overall length of 6½ x 54, and in terms of ring gauge, you get a nice mix between 54 and 38 ring sizes. The head measures an overall length of 4 1/4 inches when clipped at each end with your preferred cutter or punch cutter tool. It is similar to a thin cigar band and makes it more comfortable to hold in your hand.
The body of this cigar is made of Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Dominican binder and filler tobaccos. The wrapper has a slight chocolate flavor with hints of pepper on the finish, while there are spices on both ends—radish and cedar notes come through nicely when you draw on this stick.
The draw is easy to open but still tight enough to let some airflow through the cigar as you smoke it down to its nub (or at least what passes for one). The wrapper itself has an oily sheen that gives way to some sweet notes upon lighting up—this taste definitely reminds me more than anything else of coffee beans! It burns evenly throughout most of its length until just before finishing up; after which time the ash will turn from white ash to blackish-grey. The smoke produced by La Flor Dominicana Air Bender Chisel is full-flavored without being overbearing or bitter in any way (which sometimes happens when there’s too much tobacco).
This LFD Air Bender is a full-bodied smoke with notes of leather, hardwood, and some spice. The flavor profile is pretty unique, but if you’re looking for something different from what you’re used to smoking, this cigar will be right up your alley. It’s definitely not a cheap cigar by any means, but it’s also not going to break the bank either. If you’re looking for something with more character than most cigars on the market, this one might be worth checking out!
